This is the 4.0 version with snaps so it grows with the baby! Included in the purchase are two microfleece liners.
After dinner, we headed to the DREADED Babies R Us. We were both terrified of what this experience entailed. I believe we both pictured getting sucked into the black hole of all things baby and possibly not making it out alive. But I must say that the staff here made our shopping experience very pleasurable and Chris had a ball playing with all of the 'stuff.' He was the official inspector of anything we picked out. We found a travel system that suits our needs and the car seat is rated numero UNO in safety. It's the Chicco Cortina travel system. It's heavy duty, easy to fold, and very safe.

Those are just a few of the larger items we registered for. After all that dread and panic, we came out feeling pretty confident about our choices. We even had the energy to stop by Starbucks for a decaf. latte!
If you're really wanting to buy locally there is a lady that sells handmade all-in-ones at the Farmer's Market...may be worth checking out. :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you had success in registering! We had some of the same feelings you guys did but feel pretty confident now with what we've included on the registries. Such an exciting time, yes? :)
ReplyDeleteThe stroller/car seat combo was my favorite thing to pick out and my favorite thing to use with Rachel! Allen took it upon himself to "inspect" all of the "stuff" at Babies R Us himself when we were registering. He was asked to return to his wife at one point when they found him in the crib testing how much weight it would hold...ridiculous!!
ReplyDeleteI am very jealous of you doing cloth diapering (and proud of you, too). I wish I had started that with Rachel, but I didn't really know anything about it at the time and now with the possibility of 3 in diapers, I just don't think I could wash that many poopie diapers!!! You might be my inspiration, though!
