Christmas 2012

We had a wonderful Christmas this year! Webb is at the age where the lights, the trees, the presents (presidents as he calls them) are all so exciting for him. He was very into saying that Santa comes down the "chimdy" and that Santa was going to bring him trucks and trains. Which of course, he did. We also talked about Jesus' birth. He has a little nativity scene in his room and we named the people and talked about it. I look forward to teaching him more about our Savior's birth the older he gets.

Christmas Eve was special because Nancy spent the night. We had a nice brunch that afternoon and then spent the afternoon and evening playing and listening to Christmas music. Webb and Nancy started a crazy game of run-the-trucks-around-the-house which lasted a good hour. We were all sweating from trying to keep up with him.

Nice eyeballs, Daddy!

In my next life, I'm going to have arms like Head's.

Before bed, we read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" all snuggled up in our jammies. Webb was precious as always.

Santa came and brought mommy and daddy a relaxing morning as Webb slept until almost 8! We got up and Webb saw his new train set which we couldn't pull him away from. This boy loves his trains!

Future doctor?

Future farmer?

Taking a break on his new bean bag. Gotta love his new rain boots too!

Christmas at Mimi and Pawpaw's brought a new digger and some money for higher education. The best gift of all, in my opinion.

This past weekend, we went to the NCMusic Fest uptown. It was great for our little town and brought people from all over- and of all different ages! Chris especially loves live music so we got a sitter both nights and had so much fun! Here are some pics when we took Webb to hear the music!

We have had such fun being together as a family. We've snuggled a lot, played a lot, and just enjoyed family and friends.

Christmas in our new house was so special. Many memories were made.

I hope you all had a great Christmas too!
