This weekend, we headed to our favorite place, Oak Island, to celebrate our six year anniversary! I can't believe we've been married that long! It was also Baby Fulton's first of many trips to the beach. Saturday night as Chris and I were sitting on the swing overlooking the Intercoastal waterway, it hit us that next year, we'll have a little friend tagging along with us on beach trips. We can't wait to show our child the beauty and serenity of Oak Island! We enjoyed a perfect day on the beach on Saturday. Chris got to relax and read and I slept and people watched most of the time. (It's a Zimmerman thing.) Saturday night we went to Southport and had dinner at the Fishy Fishy Cafe. We thought we'd have to wait in line, but we were seated as soon as we got there! They had a table for us right by the water. It was the perfect place to have dinner with my perfect Chris Fulton. :) Sunday, we went out for breakfast and then spent the day on the beach before leaving to head home. Thank you, Chris for a wonderful weekend. And thank you for being sweet and good to me every single day. I love you!
Happy anniversary, although it's late. We're right behind you on the 6 year anniversary thing! Time flies when you're having fun.
