Here we are at nearly 11 weeks since you made your appearance! You are growing so quickly and are really starting to become your own little person. These are some things you've been up to!
1. You rolled over this week! I had you on your tummy while we were playing one afternoon in your room. You were getting a little frustrated with tummy time as you usually do but this time, you propped yourself up on your arm and rolled your little body over! I started yelling and laughing at you and the dogs went crazy! I bet you think your mama is one silly lady. I was just so proud of your little milestone!
2. You sleep like me! At least that's what daddy says- and I must agree. You love to have your head covered. Several times we've had to move the blanket off of your head because you've buried yourself under it. This morning, I went in to check on you and you were all the way under the blanket with your little fists in the air. I think you're moving around so much in your sleep and wallowing (like I do!) and you just get yourself all twisted up in the blanket- even when you're swaddled!
3. You are smiling and cooing a lot! We spend a lot of time talking to you and listening to you talk back to us. You are spending much of your day 'working' and playing instead of sleeping. You like to lay in your crib and watch your mobile. You are so much fun!
4. You have found your hands again. When you were born, you sucked on your hands a lot. Lately, you've been sucking on them more and making this crazy clicking sound with your lips. I think you're trying to entertain us!
5. Speaking of cribs, you are now sleeping in yours all night! We made this decision when I went to check on you one night and you had your legs propped up on the foot of your bassinett! What a little monkey. You were also moving around so much that you'd hit your head against the side of it. You have done well in your crib- and I know you like having more room to wallow!
6. We started a bed time routine a few weeks ago and it seems to be working pretty well! We start around 7:30 by giving you a bath (some nights, not all), followed by feeding you, swaddling you, and rocking you to sleep. You then wake up once in the night to eat and usually go right back to sleep. I don't want to get too excited about how well you're doing with this, but for now, I'm very pleased. You are sleeping for 6 hour stretches which is nice too! Go baby!
7.Your first beach trip is coming soon! We are so excited about taking you to our favorite place, Oak Island. This will be the first of many many trips!
8. Between the hours of 5pm and 7pm, you can be a BOOGER! This seems to be your fussiest time of day. Some days you're fine, but others can be quite trying! You have a little fit and there is nothing daddy and I can do to please you. During these times, I just pray for patience and wait for it to pass, which it does. Then you're ready for a good night's sleep.
9. Everyone says you're perfect. Like Gerber baby perfect. People have said you're the most beautiful baby they've ever seen. They might just be saying that, but we think you're perfect and beautiful too. You are loved so much. Your grandparents adore you and love spending time with you. You are one lucky little boy.

Oh, what a cutie patootie! Loved reading about all he's been up to. Sounds like parenthood is going well in the Fulton household. :)
