Getting ideas

So as I mentioned in my last post, one of the projects this summer is to begin working on our nursery for Baby Boy Fulton. (Yes, it's a boy!) I have been searching the internet for pictures to get ideas of what I'd like in his room. I plan on having a lot of the crib bedding (bumpers, dust ruffle, etc) hand made as well as curtains so I'm searching for fabrics/color schemes that I like so I can take that to the fabric store/seamstress. Here are some of the things I like so far and some other must-haves that are just too sweet!

*I LOVE the dust ruffle, color scheme, and mongrammed rug. Not a fan of the tacky bow on the bassinett.

Okay, I should probably stop now! This is just too fun! Hopefully over the next few months, things in the nursery will take shape and this vision will become a reality!

Divine Summer Top 10!

Summertime is here and I am LOVIN' it! Totally the reason why I love my job as a teacher (okay, it's really a small reason, but still)! Here are the top ten reasons why I love summer so very much!

10. Staying up late to watch movies

9. Sleeping in/laying in bed for however long I please

8. Working on projects around the house that have waited and waited . . . (This summer, that would be the nursery!)

7. Going to see Chris at his office

6. Lunch out with girlfriends!

5. Boat rides on the lake

4. Fresh veggies from the garden

3. Trips to Winston to see Head

2. Shopping for all things baby related!

1. Beach trips to Oak Island! I'm heading there in 3 days with my bestest buds and can't wait!!!!!!!!!!
