Today you are 7 months old! Where has this time gone? You are so full of life- playing hard, eating well, sleeping well (thank you!), and officially in to EVERYTHING! Here are some things you've been up to lately:
You lost another grandparent- your great grandmother Hartzog. She loved you so much and always said you were a "pretty little boy." She lived to be almost 100. She was a blessing to us all and will be missed.
We celebrated Daddy's first Father's Day. No pictures to share but it was a special day!
Pulling up- yes, in full force! You're pulling up on chair legs, your swing, your pack-n-play, your stroller- basically whatever you can grab onto and pull on! You've had a few little head bumps from falling backwards but most of the time we're on the carpet and you don't even miss a beat.
You are still eating solids and seem to do well with them! We're going to try some puffs this week!
You still love your swing and your tub, being outside, taking baths, looking at books, and chewing on Sophie Sophie.
Your new favorite book is Commotion in the Ocean. It has big bright pictures. I love how you talk to your books.
You are still going to bed around 7:30 or 8 and are sleeping until 6. You usually take a 2 or 2.5 hour nap around 8:30 and then again in the afternoon. Mommy is learning the drill- once you're fussy, we go down for a nap. The time in between is spent playing!
You went on your first canoe ride a few weeks ago. You were not a fan of your life jacket but I think you'll get used to it!
You like peek-a-boo, patty cake, and forehead bumper (a poem your Mams made up)!
You graduated to a convertible car seat! I think you like having more room!
You love playing with a tipped over laundry basket! It keeps you entertained while I do things around the house!
Your nicknames include Punker, Stink Stink, Little, Buddy, and Sunshine
Here is my all time favorite picture of you. I don't think you can get any more gorgeous. Daddy and I pray that you will be just as beautiful on the inside as you are on the outside.
Happy 7 months, Little Punker. We love you and are enjoying every minute of watching you grow and learn!
