Another One
So many people ask me when I'm going to have another baby. I get it from family, friends, strangers. It doesn't upset me at all. I just think it's funny that people just assume that since Webb is a whopping two years old, I should be spitting another baby out before the 'age gap gets too big.' Chris and I have talked a lot about having another baby. Right now though, I am enjoying every single second of my brown-eyed boy. I honestly can't imagine dividing my time between him and an infant. Webb is so busy and active and loves being on the go. We're outside a lot, at the park, going on bike rides, going fun places, and just living life. There is plenty of time ahead of us for more children. Right now, I'm giving 100% of myself- we are giving 100% of ourselves to our sweet boy and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Heaven
How do you explain Heaven to your two year old? I kinda figured that out today while Webb and I were swinging at the park. Out of the blue, he said "Where is mommy's father?" (pronounced like fah-ver) I told him that my daddy was in heaven. I pointed to the sky and told him that my daddy had a bad heart and went to Heaven to be with Jesus. He repeated everything I told him and when I told him his name was "Butch," he said "His name is Mulch." Ha. Pretty good. So we looked at Heaven and we talked about how he has two Pawpaws- one at Mimi's house (whom he likes to call Dave these days) and one in Heaven. I told him that Heaven is where people go when they die and where Jesus takes care of people and makes them all better. His little eyes looked up to the sky and I could tell he was taking it all in. How awesome it was to be at our favorite place on a beautiful, sunny day and have this conversation. I know my dad was listening and beaming.
So glad I have this old picture from my cell phone. One of the last of him holding Webb.

Precious
There aren't enough words in the world that could encompass the love I have for this child. He is using good manners each day- saying please, thank you, yes mam, no mam, no thank you. He is sweet and good and loving. He is happiest outside playing with anything that rolls. He loves the swings at the park, running after the birds, riding on his tricycle, and playing in his dirt pile. He will snuggle you, smile at you, talk with you. We talk about everything. He asks what things are and we talk about it and he learns new words. He uses big words like "actually" and "I believe." He will throw a fit in a hot minute and be over it in another minute. He will run you ragged, wear you out, and test your patience. He will talk about Jesus and the friends he loves. He will make your heart swell so proudly, melt it with a sweet smile, and capture it with those dark brown eyes. He will show you the best that life has to offer. He is mine, he is ours, and I love him so so much.

Easter 2013
As I was looking back at previous Easter posts, I discovered that this child has grown so incredibly much since he was a baby! He is getting taller and slimming down!
Your first Easter as a 5 month old!
Webb and Mimi- in his little outfit they brought back from Italy. Webb was sick too!
This was last year!
Oh so handsome and precious!
Okay, so this year, as I'm getting Webb ready for church, I'm trying deseparately to wrestle him after he and daddy were playing and being silly. I put his little shirt on and Webb's first words were "Webb doesn't like this shirt." Chris about died. So I then proceed to break a sweat putting his jon jon on. Webb runs out of the room saying he wants to wear his orange lawnmower shoes (which I don't know what he's talking about). He comes back in with his green froggy rainboots on. Ok, fine. By this point, I wasn't going to fight it. He looked absolutely precious and just like Webb should look.
Someone is just too busy!
We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon and then dinner with both sides of our families.
This week is Spring Break, so there's lots of fun to be had around here!
